First time and long term tenants who are commencing a lease in private residential premises may be eligible for a Rent Power Guarantee.

Rent Power Guarantee is provided by Vero, and acts as a substitute for a residential rental cash bond. It is a guarantee provided to the landlord/property manager for a maximum of nine weeks rent.

Tenants pay a one off upfront fee, with no additional costs. This fee provides the tenant with a Rent Power Guarantee, which covers them for the length of their tenancy at the premises. Thirty three percent (33%) of the fee payable will be refunded upon the expiry of the guarantee where no claim has been made.
